Tonight Sam braved his fear of pre-teen entertainment to go see High School Musical 3 with me at the dollar theatre (which, by the way, is not the dollar theatre anymore--it's the dollar and twenty-five cents theatre! what's up with that?!). [Photo from cwlee1986.blogspot.com]Isn't he sweet? It was totally awesome the second time, too (provided you had a good laugh at the corny parts). And the best part about it was that there were only, like, two kids in the theatre, which was pretty full--the rest were adults. Adults that were there because they like the movie. We were sitting next to the funniest group of guys (yes, you read right--guys), who made the most hilarious comments the whole time. But it was okay that they made fun of it, because you could tell they liked it. And they totally clapped and danced along to the music. It was awesome.
Oh, and we went to Olive Garden beforehand for salad and breadsticks, and the wait was totally over a half hour, but then Sam goes to the hostess, "Can we just sit at the bar?" and she was like, "Same food, same service," so we were totally finished with our meal by the time we would have just gotten seated. How totally amazing is Sam? He's a genius.
p.s. Mimi, if you're reading this, Sam doesn't think Zac Efron's look is soul-searching/searing. He says he just looks confused. I know. I don't know what I'm going to do with him.

We were debating if we were going to see this movie or not! Maybe we'll have to give it a shot. :) You've got me craving Olive Garden now. I love their salad and breadsticks! Very smooth to sit at the bar instead, too. Hope you're having a good week!
What?! Zach's look totally sears my soul. Poor Sam. He just doesn't get it. I'm so happy that he went with you though! And jealous that he went with you and you got to eat at Olive Garden. I'm pretty sure you guys went on my dream date, hehe.
How fun! I have always wanted to see that movie! Now the next step is getting Jeremy to come with me:) We will see how that goes! You guys are awesome!
Guys, the movie is totally awesome. You need to go see it. And Mimi, we need to see it again together. It totally comes out February 16. Get ready for a belated Valentine's Day present, yo.
